Dorothy Bolden

Fedrigoni 365 is an annual publication featuring 365 UK-based creatives. In 2025, they brought in 730 creatives globally and we were thrilled to be included.
The overarching theme was ‘opposites.’ For each date, two creative teams worked on opposing ideas, one in each book. Participants didn’t see the opposing design until the edition launched. The one requirement was that the art be driven by the number.
Champions was assigned the word “Modest” and the date January 9, which is a Thursday.

Dorothy Bolden was a domestic worker and legendary founder of the National Domestic Workers Union. She is the inspiration for the work of the National Domestic Workers Alliance.

NDWA is an organization founded in 2007 to elevate the dignity and protect the rights of nannies, cleaners and home care workers in the United States.

In 2022, Champions rebranded the National Domestic Workers Alliance. Within the organization is the Dorothy Bolden Fellowship.

The Dorothy Bolden Fellowship supports the development of domestic worker leaders through intensive internships and leadership positions at the national level.
